The present disclosure provides a "movable panel wedge system". A wedge system includes a receiver and a wedge that is received within the receiver when a movable vehicle panel is in a closed position. The wedge stabilizes movement of the movable vehicle panel along a first axis, along a second axis different from the first axis, and along a third axis different from the first axis and the second axis.
