The invention relates to the technical field of investment casting of hollow castings, in particular to a low-deformation high-strength ceramic core and a preparation method thereof.The low-deformation high-strength ceramic core comprises ceramic core powder, and the ceramic core powder comprises, by mass, 30-85% of high-temperature calcined high-bauxite powder, 10-50% of electric smelting mullite powder and 1-20% of alumina powder. According to the ceramic core and the preparation method thereof disclosed by the invention, the ceramic core prepared by accurately proportioning the high-temperature calcined high-alumina bauxite powder, the electrically-fused mullite powder and the alumina powder and combining the synergistic effect of the toughening agent, the pore forming agent and the plasticizer has relatively low deformation and relatively high high-temperature strength, and can meet the requirements of hollow directional/single-crystal castings and polycrystalline hollow castings which are poured at high temperature.
