The invention provides a tramcar track detection and maintenance device which is specially used for detection and maintenance of tramcar tracks and comprises a rack, a lifting mechanism arranged above the rack, a detection mechanism and a maintenance mechanism which are connected to the lower portion of the lifting mechanism through a connecting plate, and a wheel assembly arranged at the bottom of the rack and arranged in the tracks. Track cleaning assemblies are arranged on the two sides of the rack; the detection mechanism and the maintenance mechanism are arranged on the connecting plate through a rotating assembly; the detection mechanism comprises a first base and a detection connecting rod; a detection unit and a marking unit are arranged at the far end of the detection connecting rod; the maintenance mechanism comprises a second base, a counterweight assembly is arranged on one side of the second base and connected with a telescopic rod assembly arranged on the other side of the second base, and a grinding assembly is arranged at one end of the telescopic rod assembly. The device has the beneficial effects that maintenance work such as rapid detection and polishing in the tramcar track can be achieved, replacement of the whole section of the track is avoided, and the maintenance cost is greatly reduced.
