The invention belongs to the field of radioactive waste disposal, and particularly discloses a cement material for solidifying radioactive waste and a using method thereof.The cement material is prepared from, by weight, 60-75 parts of a cement base material, 1-2 parts of a retarder, 0.2-0.7 part of a water reducing agent and 2-5 parts of fly ash, and the retarder comprises sulfonic acid groups and a five-membered ring structure. The cement curing material is suitable for solid radioactive wastes, and the cured product has few cracks, low porosity and good retention effect on nuclides.
