The invention discloses a method for strengthening and toughening a silicon nitride-based ceramic spring by using fibers, which belongs to the technical field of ceramic springs, and comprises the following steps: preparing slurry, preparing a spring preform, burning off a mold, and carrying out suspension burning. The preparation of the slurry comprises the following steps: putting ficus pumila seeds and deionized water into a stirrer, stirring at 55-65 DEG C for 5-8 hours, and filtering to obtain pectin; adding a dispersant polyacrylamide into the pectin solution, and uniformly stirring to obtain a pectin premixed solution; adding silicon nitride powder into the pectin premixed solution, and uniformly stirring to obtain a silicon nitride premixed solution; stirring the silicon nitride premixed liquid at 35-45 DEG C, adding citric acid at the same time, and obtaining slurry after the addition is finished; the fiber-toughened silicon nitride-based ceramic spring prepared by the preparation method disclosed by the invention is good in toughness and high in strength and rigidity.
