The invention relates to the technical field of coast engineering, in particular to a bank protection device with two power generation modes and a seawater desalination auxiliary function, which comprises a bank protection main body and wave-resistant piles, the wave-resistant pile comprises a floating body arranged on a sea area close to the revetment main body, a wave energy conversion chamber close to the floating body, a first power generator arranged in the wave energy conversion chamber and a transmission mechanism connected with the floating body and the first power generator; a filter screen is laid on the surface protection layer, close to the sea area, of the revetment body, seawater filtered by the filter screen enters a water storage reservoir in the revetment body, a water outlet communicated with the top of the water outlet channel is formed in the top end of the water storage reservoir, and a water outlet communicated to a seawater desalination system of the energy island is formed in the bottom of the water outlet channel. The water turbine is arranged in the water outlet channel and connected with the second generator; power generated by the first generator and the second generator is merged into the power grid of the energy island. Wave energy can be efficiently captured, seawater is preliminarily filtered, and gravitational potential energy is utilized through the water turbine system.
