The concrete block is provided with a first wall and a second wall which are transversely and oppositely arranged; the third wall and the fourth wall are longitudinally and oppositely arranged, and the first wall is connected to the second wall through the third wall and the fourth wall; the first wall is provided with a first clamping part, and the second wall is provided with a first inserting part; the third wall is provided with a second clamping part, and the fourth wall is provided with a second inserting part; the first inserting parts and the first clamping parts of the two transversely adjacent concrete building blocks abut against each other; and the second inserting parts and the second clamping parts of the two longitudinally adjacent concrete blocks abut against each other. By means of the technical scheme, the problems that in the prior art, a cast-in-place concrete retaining wall is long in construction period and large in construction difficulty are solved.
