The invention relates to the field of water conservancy building blocks and ecological landscapes, in particular to a chain type ecological slope protection brick and a chain type ecological slope protection brick combination. The chain type ecological slope protection brick comprises an I-shaped brick body, the brick body comprises a cuboid-shaped main body part, the positions, close to the ends, of the two ends of the main body part are perpendicularly and symmetrically provided with embedding parts in an extending mode towards the two sides, and the faces, close to each other, of the two embedding parts on the same side are first slope faces; and an isosceles trapezoid interlocking gap is formed between the two embedding parts on the same side and the main body part. The brick has the advantages that the structural design is simple and reasonable, the brick bodies can be effectively and mutually embedded and laid to form a whole surface, meanwhile, due to the design of the first slope surfaces, the brick bodies can relatively move and be expanded along the first slope surfaces when freezing swelling changes occur in cold weather, freezing swelling force is effectively released, and damage to the brick bodies and the laid whole is avoided.
