The invention discloses a construction method for an anti-seepage system of a water plant pool wall and the anti-seepage system. The construction method comprises the steps of binding reinforcing steel bars, erecting a concrete formwork, machining triangular wood on site, placing galvanized stainless steel square pipes, pre-burying water stop plates, pouring concrete and removing side formworks. The anti-seepage system comprises vertical steel bars and water stop plates, and the lower portions of the vertical steel bars are bound in the transverse direction and the longitudinal direction through bidirectional steel bars. The vertical steel bars are poured in the concrete to form side walls of the pool; the water stop plate is pre-buried in the concrete; the anti-seepage problem of the reservoir wall can be solved, construction joints on the inner side and the outer side of the concrete wall can be straightened, and favorable conditions can be provided for next concrete construction; slurry leakage or slab staggering can be prevented, and the appearance of poured concrete is neat and attractive.
