The damping hinge (2) comprises: a first hinge rod (21) comprising a first rod sleeve (210) at a first end and a first mounting portion (211) at a second end, the first mounting portion (211) being connected or connectable to a first mounting part (4) or being directly connected or connectable to a first separating element; a second hinge rod (22) rotatable relative to the first hinge rod (21) about a hinge axis (x) and comprising, at a first end, a second rod sleeve (220) and, at a second end, a second mounting portion (221) connected or connectable to a second mounting part (4) or directly connected or connectable to a second separating element; a hinge shaft (23) arranged in the first and second lever sleeves (210, 220) coaxially aligned with the hinge axis (x); and a damping device (26) with an actuating element (261) which can be actuated by mutual rotation of the two hinge levers (21, 22). According to the invention, at least one guide element (2201) is arranged in the second rod sleeve (220), which at least one guide element extends helically from one end of the second rod sleeve (220) to the other end of the second rod sleeve (220); and the actuating lever (24) is displaceably held by the hinge shaft (23), the actuating lever (24) being aligned parallel or coaxial to the hinge axis (x), and the actuating lever (24) comprising a lever element (241) and at least one rail element (242) connected to the lever element (241), the at least one rail element (242) interacting with the guide element (2201) such that when the two hinge levers (21, 22) are rotated relative to each other, the at least one rail element (242) interacts with the guide element (2201). The actuation lever (24) is axially displaceable against an actuation element (261) of the damping device (26).

According to the invention, at least one guide element (2201) is arranged in the second rod sleeve (220), which at least one guide element extends helically from one end of the second rod sleeve (220) to the other end of the second rod sleeve (220); and the actuating lever (24) is displaceably held by the hinge shaft (23), the actuating lever (24) being aligned parallel or coaxial to the hinge axis (x), and the actuating lever (24) comprising a lever element (241) and at least one rail element (242) connected to the lever element (241), the at least one rail element (242) interacting with the guide element (2201) such that when the two hinge levers (21, 22) are rotated relative to each other, the at least one rail element (242) interacts with the guide element (2201). The actuation lever (24) is axially displaceable against an actuation element (261) of the damping device (26).
