The invention relates to a ventilation quantity detection device and an air conditioner energy saving method based on the ventilation quantity, and the detection device comprises a magnetic part which is arranged at the bottom of a window body; the plurality of electronic tags are arranged on the bottom surface of the window frame at intervals, each electronic tag comprises an antenna and a chip, the antenna and the chip are detachably arranged, the chip is fixedly connected to a movable seat made of magnetic metal, and the movable seat is fixedly connected with the window frame. When the magnetic piece moves to the position above the corresponding electronic tag along with the window body, the magnetic piece attracts the movable base to enable the chip and the antenna to be separated, and therefore the electronic tag loses efficacy. An electronic tag reader; a differential pressure sensor; and the control system is used for calculating the opening amount of the window according to the label information read by the electronic label reader and calculating the ventilation quantity according to the opening amount and the pressure difference signal of the pressure difference sensor.
