The invention provides a waterstop for an embedded dock gate and a mounting method thereof.The waterstop is arranged on an extension structure around the dock gate and comprises a reinforcing base, a pressure-bearing pad and an elastic waterstop piece, the reinforcing base is fixedly connected to the downstream side of the extension structure, the elastic waterstop piece is connected to the surface of the reinforcing base, and the pressure-bearing pad is arranged on the surface of the elastic waterstop piece; the two pressure-bearing pads are arranged on the two sides of the elastic water stop piece correspondingly and fixed to the reinforcing base. The reinforcing base is used for increasing the local strength of a stress part, the elastic water stop piece is connected to the surface of the reinforcing base and seals the dock gate and the dock entrance, the dock gate and the dock entrance are better attached, and therefore the water stop performance is better, and the pressure bearing pad is used for protecting the elastic water stop piece and prolonging the service life of the water stop belt.
