The invention discloses an intelligent network connection road bridge height limiting system and a height limiting method.The intelligent network connection road bridge height limiting system comprises a height limiting frame, a transverse rod is arranged on the height limiting frame in the vertical direction in a displaceable mode, and a plurality of inserting grooves are formed in the two sides of the height limiting frame from top to bottom at intervals; a supporting plate capable of moving in the horizontal direction is arranged in the inserting groove, the transverse rod is placed on the surface of the supporting plate, an air cylinder is arranged on the outer side of the height limiting frame, a piston rod of the air cylinder is connected with the supporting plate through a connecting rod, a hanging ring is arranged on the transverse rod, a telescopic air cylinder is arranged at the top of the height limiting frame, and a telescopic rod is arranged on the telescopic air cylinder. A piston rod of the telescopic cylinder is connected with a motor, and an output shaft of the motor is connected with a lifting hook, so that the lifting hook can at least partially rotate into the lifting ring. The height limiting frame solves the problems that in the prior art, height limiting adjustment cannot be conducted on a height limiting frame according to actual road section requirements, and meanwhile the overall damage rate is high once collision happens to the height limiting frame.
