The invention relates to the technical field of building sunshade, and discloses a building door and window external sunshade device which comprises a window frame, an upper frame body is hinged to the inner wall of the top of the window frame, and a lower frame body is hinged to the bottom of the upper frame body. Ventilation air can be provided for the indoor space through air holes, the indoor space cannot be too depressed, when the equipment needs to be stored, a servo motor is started to be matched with a longitudinal threaded rod and a sliding block to enable a lower frame body and an upper frame body to synchronously rotate and be folded, so that the lower half portion of a window frame is vacated, and normal use of a window cannot be affected; meanwhile, the sunshade device can be flatly laid on the top of a window frame through cooperation with a crank arm, a telescopic rod and a transverse plate, the situation that rainwater enters a window due to sudden raining is prevented, and the protection effect is achieved.
