The invention relates to the technical field of electric door data processing, in particular to an intelligent safety protection system for an electric door, which comprises an image recognition module used for acquiring a monitoring video of an operation area of the electric door and performing foreign matter or human body recognition on the monitoring video; the operation control module is used for judging whether the human body blocks operation of the electric door when the human body is recognized; the controller is also used for controlling the operation of the electrically operated gate when the human body blocks the operation of the electrically operated gate; the alarm module is used for giving an alarm when judging that the human body blocks the operation of the electrically operated gate; the prediction module is used for predicting whether a stop point of foreign matter movement is located in an operation passing area of the electrically operated gate according to the monitoring video when the foreign matter is identified; and the interference module is used for interfering the movement process of the foreign matter when the stop point of the foreign matter movement is located in the operation passing area of the electric door. By means of the scheme, the risk that foreign matter interferes with operation of the electrically operated gate can be reduced, and safety accidents of the electrically operated gate are reduced.
