The invention provides a device for detecting the silt content of sandy soil, which comprises a box body, a filtering device, a power device, a box body cover and a water collecting tank, the top of the box body is open, a clamping groove I and a clamping groove II are welded inside the box body, and an electric motor bearing frame, a water inlet pipe and a water outlet pipe are welded outside the box body; the filtering device is arranged on the clamping groove I and the clamping groove II in the box body and is used for placing and filtering sandy soil; the power device is arranged on the electric motor bearing frame, is connected with an external power supply and can provide power for the filtering device; the box cover is arranged at the upper part of the box; the water collecting tank is arranged at the bottom of the box body and used for discharging muddy water from the drain pipe. By adopting the sand silt content detection device, the sand silt content detection efficiency is improved, and the labor intensity of experimenters is reduced to a certain extent due to the fact that errors of test results are avoided and reduced.
