The invention discloses an auxiliary stair climbing device for a wheelchair. The auxiliary stair climbing device comprises a climbing main machine, a mechanical arm and a wheelchair fixator. The mechanical arm is a multi-degree-of-freedom mechanical arm and is used for adjusting the up-and-down position and the front-and-back position of the wheelchair fixator; the wheelchair fixator is of a folding structure and comprises a safety pressing rod, a backrest plate, a seat cushion plate, a seat support and a bottom plate. The safety pressing rod can rotate and fold up and down relative to the backrest plate to be erected or laid down, the seat cushion plate can rotate and fold back and forth relative to the backrest plate to be erected or laid down, and a limiting piece used for clamping a wheelchair is arranged on the seat cushion plate. The lower end of the backrest plate is connected with the seat support, bottom plates are arranged on the left side and the right side of the bottom of the seat support respectively, and wheel guide grooves are formed in the bottom plates. The up-down and front-back positions of the wheelchair fixing device can be adjusted, the position adjusting requirement of a user can be met, the wheelchair fixing device is of a folding structure, the wheelchair fixing device can be folded when not used at ordinary times, the size can be reduced, and the occupied space can be reduced.
