Environment-friendly mortar composition
The mortar composition comprises: a) 15 wt% to 50 wt% of a mineral binder wherein:-the mineral binder comprises 40 to 70 parts by weight of cement and 30 to 60 parts by weight of a cement substitute based on clay, limestone and gypsum, relative to 100 parts by weight of the mineral binder; -and wherein, with respect to 100 parts by weight of the cement substitute, the cement substitute comprises: 35-65 parts by weight of clay, in particular calcined clay, 1-20 parts by weight of gypsum, and the balance to 100 parts by weight of limestone; b) 50 wt.% to 80 wt.%, in particular 62 wt.% to 65 wt.%, of an aggregate, in particular sand; c) from 0 wt.% to 10 wt.%, in particular from 0 wt.% to 6 wt.%, of one or more additives; -wherein all wt.% are relative to the dry weight of the mortar composition.
