Wandsystem (1) zur Teilung eines Raumes (2), welches wenigstens eine feststehende Trennwand (3, 31) und wenigstens eine Tür (4) umfasst, wobei die Tür (4) mittels eines unteren Gelenkes (12) und eines oberen Gelenkes (13) um eine vertikale Drehachse (14) drehbar gelagert ist, wobei jedes Gelenk (12, 13) ein Lager (12a, 13a) und ein Gegenlager (12b, 13b) aufweist, die drehbar miteinander verbunden sind, wobei jeweils das Lager (12a, 13a) mit der Tür (4) verbunden ist und wobei die durch die beiden Gelenke (12, 13) definierte vertikale Drehachse (14) in der Tür (4) verläuft, wobei die Trennwand (3) ein unteres Wandprofil (5) und ein oberes Wandprofil (6) sowie zwischen dem unteren und dem oberen Wandprofil (5, 6) angeordnete Wandpaneele (7) aufweist, wobei das Gegenlager (12b) des unteren Gelenks (12) im unteren Wandprofil (5) angeordnet ist und wobei das Gegenlager (13b) des oberen Gelenks (13) im oberen Wandprofil (6) angeordnet ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das untere Wandprofil (5) auf einem Boden (9) und das obere Wandprofil (6) an einer Decke (10) befestigt ist, wobei die Tür (4) ein unteres Türprofil (17) und ein oberes Türprofil (18) aufweist, welches sich jeweils über eine gesamte Breite (B4) der Tür (4) erstreckt und wobei das untere Wandprofil (5) eine Unterkante (UK) der Trennwand (3) bildet sowie das obere Wandprofil (6) eine Oberkante (OK) der Trennwand (3) bildet, und wobei das untere Wandprofil (5) im Bereich der Tür (4) unterbrochen ist.
