Die Anmeldung betrifft eine Duschvorrichtung mit einem Funktionselement, insbesondere einem Duschkopf, wobei das Funktionselement mit einem ersten Halteelement verbunden ist, welches an einer ersten Seite einer Trennwand angeordnet ist und dort magnetisch gehalten wird wobei auf der Rückseite der Trennwand ein zweites Halteelement angeordnet ist und dass die zum Halten des Funktionselements an der Trennwand erforderliche magnetische Kraft zwischen dem ersten Halteelement und dem zweiten Halteelement ausgebildet ist, wobei das zweite Halteelement an einem Verstellmechanismus befestigt ist, wobei der Verstellmechanismus mittels einer Steuerung verstellbar ist, so dass die Position des Funktionselements vertikal und/oder horizontal durch entsprechendes Verstellen des zweiten Halteelement veränderbar ist, wobei die Steuerung mit einem Sensor verbunden ist, mittels dem ein Bereich vor der ersten Seite der Trennwand berührungslos abtastbar ist Des Weiteren betrifft die Anmeldung eine Duschvorrichtung, bei der der Magnet des zweiten Haltelements oder das zweite Halteelement drehbar gelagert ist und mit einem Drehmechanismus verbunden ist. Ein weitere Grundgedanke der Anmeldung ist eine Duschvorrichtung, bei der das erste und das zweite Halteelement an ihrer der Trennwand zugewandte Seite eine Krümmung aufweisen, so dass sie zumindest im wesentlichen an der gekrümmten Trennwand anliegen. Ein anderer Aspekt der Anmeldung ist ein Verfahren zum Betrieb einer erfindungsgemäßen Duschvorrichtung wobei der Sensor eine in der Duschvorrichtung befindliche Person detektiert.
