Die Erfindung betrifft eine Verstellvorrichtung (10) zum motorischen oder manuellen Betätigen einer drehbar gelagerten Klappe (12) - insbesondere Heck-, Front- oder Kofferraumklappe - im Kraftfahrzeug, sowie ein Verfahren zum Herstellen einer solchen Verstellvorrichtung (10), wobei die Klappe (12) mittels eines Getriebemotors (14) mit einem Abtriebsritzel (16) um eine Drehachse (18) schwenkbar ist, mit einem Scharnier (20), an dem ein Zahnsegment (22) um die Drehachse (18) drehbar auf einer Trägerplatine (24) für den Getriebemotor (14) angeordnet ist, wobei das Abtriebsritzel (16) unmittelbar mit dem Zahnsegment (22) kämmt und direkt mittels einer an der Trägerplatine (24) befestigten Welle (26) drehbar gelagert ist.
