Die Erfindung betrifft Scharnier (1) für eine Klappe (101) eines Kraftfahrzeugs, umfassend ein Klappenelement (2), das zur Befestigung an der Klappe (101) ausgebildet ist, ein Schwenkelement (3), das zur drehbaren Befestigung um eine Scharnierachse (5) an einer Karosserie (100) des Kraftfahrzeugs ausgebildet ist, wobei an einer ersten Stelle das Klappenelement (2) um eine Drehachse (6) drehbar mit dem Schwenkelement (3) verbunden ist, wobei an einer zur ersten Stelle versetzten zweiten Stelle das Klappenelement (2) mittels eines lösbaren Befestigungselementes (7) mit dem Schwenkelement (3) verbunden ist, und einen Abstandshalter (8) zum Halten eines Abstandes zwischen Schwenkelement (3) und Klappenelement (2) in einer Montagestellung bei der das Befestigungselement (7) gelöst ist und das Klappenelement (2) relativ zum Schwenkelement (3) um die Drehachse (6) gegenüber einer Normalstellung verdreht ist.

A pivoting element is designed to be secured to a body of the motor vehicle such as to be rotatable about a hinge axis, wherein in a first location the flap element is connected to the pivoting element so as to be rotatable about a rotational axis, and in a second location, which is offset relative to the first location, the flap element is connected to the pivoting element via a releasable securing element.
