Es wird ein Verfahren zum Bestimmen der Strom-Kraft-Proportionalitätskonstante (f) eines zum Betätigen eines Fahrzeugfensters (2) dienenden Elektromotors (3) in einem Fahrzeug (1) beschreiben, bei dem die Federkonstante (D) eines im Verfahrweg des Fahrzeugfensters (2) angeordneten Federelements (5) bestimmt wird, wobei der Elektromotor (3) betrieben wird, so dass eine Kraft auf das Federelement (5) ausgeübt wird, und der im Elektromotor fließende Strom (ΔI) sowie die aufgrund der Motorkraft erfolgende Auslenkung (Δs) des Federelements (5) ermittelt wird, wobei durch eine Steuereinheit über die Formelf=D⋅ΔsΔIdie Strom-Kraft-Proportionalitätskonstante f ermittelt wird.
