Die Erfindung betrifft einen Fangsack (1) zur Aufnahme eines Sammelgutes, mit einem von einem Gewebetuch (2) begrenzten Aufnahmeraum (5), der durch äußere Ränder (11, 12, 13, 14) des Fangsackes (1) begrenzt ist, wobei das Gewebetuch (2) des Fangsacks (1) zumindest teilweise luftdurchlässig ist. Der Aufnahmeraum (5) weist eine Eingangsöffnung (3) für einen das Sammelgut zuführenden Tragluftstrom (6) und eine Auslassöffnung (10) zur zumindest teilweisen Ableitung des Tragluftstroms in die Umgebung auf. Die Eingangsöffnung (3) ist an einem ersten Rand (12) des Fangsackes (1) vorgesehen, und die Entleerungsöffnung (4) an einem gegenüberliegenden, zweiten Rand (14) des Fangsackes (1). Der erste Rand (12) und der zweite Rand (14) liegen einander mit Abstand gegenüber und sind über Längsränder (11, 13) des Fangsackes (1) miteinander verbunden. Die Auslassöffnung (10) zur zumindest teilweisen Ableitung des Tragluftstroms (6) ist in einer Seitenwand (7) des Fangsackes (1) zwischen der Entleerungsöffnung (4) und der Eingangsöffnung (3) angeordnet.
