Die vorliegende Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine poröse Keramikstruktur. Diese poröse Keramikstruktur (10) ist eine poröse Keramikstruktur, die eine Porosität im Bereich von 20 bis 99% besitzt, wobei: die poröse Keramikstruktur eine Hauptoberfläche (12a) und eine andere Hauptoberfläche (12b) gegenüber der Hauptoberfläche (12a) umfasst und mindestens einen Einschnitt (16), der von der Hauptoberfläche (12a) zu der anderen Hauptoberfläche (12b) gebildet ist, aufweist; wobei ein durch den Einschnitt (16) abgeteilter Abschnitt (abgeteilter Abschnitt (18)) ein Seitenverhältnis von 3 oder mehr aufweist.
