The invention relates to a weather-proof cover for building ledges running horizontally in particular, such as window ledges, wall copings, or the like. A profile (10) is provided which, when installed, has a section (17) that is angled upwards on the outer face (2) of the building ledge, the free edge of said section being provided with a plaster termination profile (18).
