The heater (100) incorporates a pipe (102) with cutouts (104) in the sides to accommodate connectors (112,116) for one or more PTC (Positive Temperature Coefficient) heaters installed in a sleeve inside the pipe. A clamping spring (118) fits on the outside of the pipe. It has a cutout (120) and two spring arms (122,124) which engage in cutouts (130,132) in the sleeve holding the heater elements.
