The method involves partially inserting an filling made of an insulating material into a channel (14) of a moulded brick (16), where a cuboid shaped body of the brick consists of two parallel large surfaces that are aligned parallel and are at a distance to each other, and a right angled running side surfaces. The channel runs parallel to the side surfaces and is right angled to the large surfaces. A portion of the channel is filled with free flowing or blister insulating particles made of mineral fibers with or without adhesive cement. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a moulded brick, particularly a building brick, clay brick with a cuboid shaped body (2) a device for implementing the method for producing a moulded brick (3) a building, particularly a wall that consists of two moulding bricks.
