PIECE EN MATERIAU COMPOSITE A MATRICE CERAMIQUE
The fabrication of a composite material component comprises consolidation of a reinforcing fibrous preformer and densification of the preformer by a ceramic matrix. The consolidation comprises : (A) forming an interphase coating on the preformer fibers, by vapor phase chemical infiltration, with internal defragilization and external adherence layers; (B) maintaining the fibrous preformer with the fibers provided with the interphase coating; and (C) consolidation of the preformer by impregnation with a liquid containing a ceramic matrix material precursor and transformation of this precursor. An independent claim is also included for a composite material component with a ceramic matrix incorporating a fibre reinforcement densified by a ceramic matrix, with an interphase coating formed on the reinforcing fibres.
