Plastic building profile strip (1) comprises an anchoring structure with irregularly arranged recesses (12). An independent claim is also included for a method for producing a building profile strip. Preferred Features: The strip is formed by extruding. The recesses are irregularly arranged in the longitudinal extension and/or in the transversal extension of the strip. Some of the recesses have undercuts. The anchoring structure has a layer thickness of 0.03-5 mm, preferably 0.1-1.5 mm.
