ABLUTIONARY INSTALLATIONS
A shower tray (217) has a well (235) divided into a heat recovery chamber (235a) and an outlet chamber (235b) by a partition wall (243). The heat recovery chamber (235a) contains a heat recovery unit (221) to pre-heat a cold water supply to a shower with warm waste water from the shower that is collected in the heat recovery chamber (235a) prior to being discharged to waste from an outlet in the outlet chamber (235b). The partition wall (243) acts as a weir that causes the heat recovery chamber (235a) to fill with waste water when the shower is in use and has an opening (243a) providing a restricted flow between the heat recovery chamber (235a) and the outlet chamber (235b) that allows wastewater to drain from the heat recovery chamber (235a) when the shower is not in use. The heat recovery unit (221) is concealed by a removable floor panel (237) providing access to the well for repair maintenance of the heat recovery unit (221).
