A fresh-air valve (2) which comprises a ventilation flap (6) and a slot shaped channel bush (4) for building into a slot-shaped opening. Oriented towards the through-flow opening (22) of the channel bush (4), the ventilation flap (6) comprises an insulating casing (76) for avoiding condensate water on the inside of the ventilation flap (6). On the side (78) that faces away from the channel bush (4), the casing (76) comprises a track (82) oriented in the longitudinal axis of the casing (76) with spaced protruding lugs (84). These lugs (84) are intended for engaging protruding side edges (83, 85) of a locking tongue (86) placed along the centre axis (87) on a cover plate (88) associated with the ventilation flap (6). With these features, the side (78) of the casing (76) that faces away from the channel bush (4) comes into contact against upstanding lobes (95) along the parallel side edges (94) of the casing (76).
