Celluar confinement systems
A cellular confinement system for soil, sand or other filler material comprises a number of sub-assemblies (706) each made up of a plurality of interconnected open cells of fabric material. The sub-assemblies (706) are stackable one on top of the other to provide a structure having at least one generally vertical side or end wall. The system may further comprise one or more skirt portions arranged between vertically juxtaposed sub-assemblies (706) in use to seal at least the outer perimeter of the cells from the escape of fill material between the layers.
