Conditionnement de déchets radioactifs en colis de grande dimension durables et confinants
The process of treating radioactive waste dosage, comprises installing the waste at the center of a container (1) made of a material confining radionuclides, and casting a self-compacting material confining radionuclides and then hardening in the container. The cast material comprises a cap for the container, and is a self-compacting material for immobilizing the waste. The container is made of a material same as the cap. The materials of the container and the cap are self-compacting containment reinforced concrete. The casting step further comprises casting the material for self-compacting immobilization of the waste in the container, placing a reinforcement framework above the immobilization material in the container, and casting the concrete in the reinforcement framework. The process further comprises providing an anti-flotation device of the waste in the container, installing the waste in the container, installing the anti-floating device in the container at a height chosen to allow a rise by flotation of limited waste in the container during the casting operation of the immobilization material of the waste in the container, casting the self-compacting immobilization material of the waste in the container, applying a first casting of the self-compacting immobilization material for partly submerging the waste, and applying a second casting immobilization material to submerge the waste after taking the first casting of the immobilization material. The self-compacting immobilization material is self-leveled mortar confining radionuclides. Independent claims are included for: (1) a container containing a radioactive waste; (2) a cement matrix; and (3) an installation for treating radioactive waste dosage.
