The method involves providing a support surface (1), on which a fastening component consisting of loops and other locking elements is introduced and which enables the attachment of other corresponding fastening components after fastening the respective fastening component in the mounting condition of the support surface. The fastening components are provided with other locking elements, which enable a detachable connection of the assigned fastening components. The support surface is made of bituminous material or plastic. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a fastening system with a support rail; (2) a support element with a fixing surface; and (3) a support surface with a holding element.
