The channel (1) has a lower portion (2), which comprises a discharge channel (3), and an upper portion (4), which is arranged in an operating position above the lower portion. The lower portion comprises side walls (12) extending on both sides of the discharge channel and laterally spaced from the discharge channel, particularly parallelly extending next to the drainage channel. A filling space (13) is provided, which partially surrounds the drainage channel for laterally delimiting the filling of the concrete. An independent claim is included for an arrangement for removing of surface water.
