    The device has a folding door (4) provided with a plate-like base component (4a) at which a grasp (17) is arranged. A switch (18) is connected with the grasp, and pivots the grasp depending on a movement of the door relative to the base component. A set of hinges (5, 6) comprises hinge parts (5a, 5b) interconnected relative to each other. The door is pivotable at a household appliance (1). The hinges are non-destructive releasably connected with the door. The switch is non-destructive releasably connected with one of the hinge parts that is connected to the door.
