The present invention provides a collapsible packaging sleeve (1) that can be attached to a base (3), such as a pallet, to form a container (4). The container can be used for the shipping and/or storage of goods. The packaging sleeve (1) comprises latching members (10) by which the packaging sleeve (1) may be securably attached to the base (3) in a manner of seconds. The packaging sleeve (1) has four panels (2), each panel being hingedly connected to two adjacent panels by non-metallic hinges (20). By operation of the non-metallic hinges (20), the sleeve (1) can be collapsed such that it lays substantially flat, rendering it suitable for easy, out of the way storage and enhancing warehouse efficiency. The non-metallic hinges (20) are designed to have a long life span and to be operable with panels (2) having various dimensions.
