Joint assembly for supporting an awning arm and awning provided therewith The invention relates to a joint assembly (10) for supporting an awning arm (4). The assembly comprises: . - a stationary body (12) for connecting the joint assembly to the fixed world, the stationary body comprising a first web (12A) and an opposed second web (12B), . - a movable body (14), which in assembled condition is rotatably mounted between the first and second web, for adjusting a pitch angle of the awning arm; . - actuating means (16), operatively connected to the movable body, . - a coupling body (15) for connecting the awning arm to the movable body, and . - fastening means (18) for connecting the coupling body to the movable body. The fastening means pass through the first web in assembled condition. The invention further relates to an awning provided with a joint assembly according to the invention, and a kit of parts for assembling a joint assembly with or without pitch angle adjustability.
