GRINDING ADDITIVE FOR MINERAL BINDERS
The method for grinding an inorganic solid from cement clinker, pozzolan and/or raw material for cement production, comprises adding 0.01-0.5 wt.% of a grinding additive to an inorganic solid before or during grinding. The grinding additive, based on the dry mass, comprises 6-80 wt.% of caprolactam and 1.5-30 wt.% of aminocaproic acid. The grinding additive is applied as an aqueous suspension to the inorganic solid. The grinding step is carried out in a vertical roller mill. Independent claims are included for: (1) an inorganic solid material; and (2) a grinding additive.
