METHOD FOR PLACEMENT OF DUCTS/CABLES AND DEVICE FOR PLANNING PLACEMENT THEREOF
The present invention relates to a method for placement of ducts/cables in a geographical area, said method using a topology comprising one or more links and one or more nodes; each node being a starting point and/or an end point for a link, each node being associated with information about which links said node is connected to, each link representing a trench and having a starting point and an end point connected to a node, respectively, each link being associated with information about which nodes said link is connected to; said method comprising the step of: placing links in a representation of a geographical area and interconnecting said links by means of nodes so as to generating a topology comprising of nodes and links; and using said topology for placement of ducts/cables in said geographical area. Furthermore, the invention also relates to a computer program, a computer program product, a device and a system thereof.
