The invention relates to a method for creating a removable panel (1) that can be renovated for use in a false wall, and to such a panel, the panel comprising a panel body (2) having a lower surface (20) and an upper surface (21) delimited by a peripheral edge (22), the method being characterized in that it involves a step that consists in simultaneously covering the two surfaces (20, 21) of the panel body (2) with a protective covering (4), thereby inserting the panel body (2) in a tubular wrapper (40) at least one of the ends of which delimits an inlet opening, the tubular wrapper, made from a flexible material that has a predetermined surface area greater than the surface of the panel body (2) that is to be covered in its entirety forming the protective covering (4) on each of the surfaces (20, 22) of the panel body (2).
