The invention relates to a device (100) for securing a lock bolt (10) for a door of a motor vehicle. The device comprises a body (101) having two opposing main faces (103, 104), in which body a cylindrical housing (102) is formed to receive the lock cylinder, said housing having a main axis (X1) and opening on each side of the body onto each of the two opposing main faces. The body of the securing device further comprises fixing means (120) designed to fix the body to a nearby wall (55) of the motor vehicle so as to prevent the body from rotating about the main axis of the cylindrical housing, said fixing means comprising an adapter element (130) slidably mounted on said body, and means (160) for receiving the adapter element, which are provided on the body. The invention also relates to a motor vehicle comprising such a securing device.
