The present invention relates to a safety lock which comprises a case; a bolt member mounted movable in the case and displaceable, when in use, by means of rotation of a key in the lock between a first position and a second position corresponding, respectively, to the open condition and to the closed condition of the lock. Said safety lock further comprises an upper sliding bar, lower sliding bar, an additional deadbolt within the case having an additional lock member and additional deadbolt movably mounted in the case and, when in use, translatable by rotation of a second key in the additional lock between a first position and a second position corresponding, respectively, to the open condition and to the closed condition of the additional lock. Said additional lock member comprises at least one blockage pin which is shaped and dimensioned to engage with corresponding protrusion provided at least one of sliding bars, when the additional lock is in the closed condition, which block the movement of the deadbolt and sliding bars.
