The sanitary functional unit (2) has a housing which is detachably fastened to the water outlet of a sanitary outlet fitting. An outlet openings (10) is provided at downstream housing end surface (9) of housing. A rotary tool is inserted into a slot (19) formed in housing end surface of housing, and is rotatable to the desired position relative to the housing.
