DEVICE AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A BRUSHWOOD PART, AS WELL AS THE OBTAINED BRUSHWOORD PART
The invention relates to a device and a method for manufacturing a brushwood part, in particular a fascine mattress, as well as the brushwood part or fascine mattress thus obtained. The brushwood part comprises a mat made of branches wherein the branches in the mat extend in a common main direction, transverse to the longitudinal direction of the mat. The device comprises upper wire guides and lower wire guides for guiding upper wires and lower wires, respectively, in passage direction along the branches, connectors for connecting the upper wires and lower wires to each other, and furthermore a separation assembly for separating the first batch of branches from the next batch of branches for the same mat after having fed the first batch of branches. The device comprises couplers for arranging coupling elements between the consecutive batches, which coupling elements couple the upper wires between the consecutive batches to the lower wires.
