The environmental barrier coating 40 includes an intermediate layer 42 disposed on the bond coat 44, a sealing layer disposed on the intermediate layer 42, a first top coat 40 disposed on the sealing layer, and a second top coat 48 disposed on the first top coat 46. The first top coat 46 is different from the second top coat 48.
