The invention relates to a device (1) for closing off a bay, comprising a stationary part (11) and at least one panel (16) that is moveable relative to said stationary part, the sliding of which is guided by two rails (15) supported by said stationary part, said movable panel supporting two bolts (19) capable of cooperating with two corresponding strikes, said movable panel supporting a handle (110) for actuating said bolts, movable in an actuating direction parallel to said sliding direction, and angle transmission means (23) implementing, for each bolt, a portion of flexible blade (22), having a first end extending parallel to said locking direction and fixed to said bolt, and having a second end extending parallel to said actuating direction and fixed to said handle.
