METHOD FOR PRODUCING COMPOSITE MATERIAL, AND COMPOSITE MATERIAL
The present invention relates to a new method for producing composite material (1) provided with a finishing surface (12) and a backing surface (13), which comprises the following steps: step (i), contact heating of at least one blanket layer (11) that includes natural fibres mixed with synthetic fibres, or heating up to at least a temperature at which the synthetic fibres soften; step (ii), placing of the blanket layer (11) heated in step (i) in the cavities of a mould, followed by pressing; step (iii), cooling of the blanket layer (11) moulded in step (ii) to at least a temperature at which the finishing surface (12) hardens; step (iv), injection of plastic resin to form recesses or structural portions in predefined regions in the backing surface (13); and step (v), cooling of the assembly obtained in step (iv) to at least a hardening temperature.
