The invention relates to a composite profiled section (4) for doors (1), windows, or facade elements, comprising at least one first profiled outer metal section (12) and at least one second profiled outer metal section (14). The first profiled outer metal section (12) is connected to the second profiled outer metal sections (14) in an insulating web zone (I) via one or more insulating web(s) (18, 19), which is/are made of a plastic material. In the insulating web zone (I), the profiled metal sections (12, 14) and/or the insulating web(s) (18) form an elastic or non-elastic connection in the form of a sliding guide in a separating zone. The invention is characterized in that at least one functional element (27) is arranged in the separating zone, said functional element acting on the separating zone in a movement-restricting manner.
